Configure database grooming settings for a Management Group

Grooming maintain the performance of the Operations Manager database by managing its size through the deletion of unnecessary records.
The default grooming setting for all record types is data older than 7 days.

Use the following procedure to specify the grooming for the Operations Manager database of Operations Manager 2007 Management Group:

  1. Log on to the computer as Operations Manager Administrators role for the Operations Manager 2007 Management Group.
  2. In the Operations Console, click the Administration button then Settings
    Choose database grooming and right-click and click Properties.
  3. Select a record type you want to change, and then click Edit.
